cocon as "Elysée Kita

The cocon daycare center in Munich-Bogenhausen has been certified as an “Elysée Kita”!

The Elysée Kitas are certified based on the German-French Quality Charter by an German-French expert commission. Our goal is to make a constructive contribution to a Europe of multilingualism. By promoting the acquisition of foreign languages at an early stage, communication skills are established and developed.

We are very happy about this new seal of quality and the new impulses it gives to our pedagogical work. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our team for their important contribution to the establishment of our bilingual concept, which gives the children so much joy every day!

Deutsches Kindergarten Gütesiegel

Munich, January 2020

We are very pleased to have been awarded the German Kindergarten Quality Seal by PädQUIS (formerly EduCert®GmbH, founded and led by Prof. Wolfgang Tietze from the Department of Early Childhood Education at the Free University of Berlin) for our two locations Bogenhausen (certified since 2018) and Waldtrudering (certified since 2019).

The certification referred to the pedagogical work, organization, structure, conception, processes and quality in the house.

The seal of approval is based on a broad professional consensus on characteristics and criteria of good pedagogical quality of daycare centers. The selection of quality criteria to be reviewed is based on the extent to which good quality promotes the development and education of children and supports parents in the care and upbringing of their children. With the seal of approval, uniform quality standards are to apply nationwide across regional and carrier-specific circumstances.

By participating in this procedure, cocon has disclosed its entire pedagogical and procedural working methods and we have thus allowed ourselves to be measured against high professional standards by an independent external body.

We are all the more pleased that we have scored “very good” overall.

First and foremost, we would like to thank our head teachers and their teaching team, who devote themselves to the children and their daily lives with a lot of dedication, heart and professionalism, and who implement the concept of our house so lovingly and professionally at the same time.

Warm regards
