Fundamental concept of education

Health education in early childhood, individual support, multilingualism and of course the best possible arrangement of family and career form the columns of our educational work. We wish to lay the foundation for happy, self-confident, independent children. Mentally and physically strong and healthy. For us it is important that all children receive the attention, support and time that they need for their well-being and the development of their abilities and talents: This is ensured by our committed, caring teachers and the entire cocon team.

cocon promotes positive development – at every age:

Our teaching concept is based on the Bavarian educational and development plan as well as the legal foundation of the Bavarian Child Education and Supervision Act (BayKiBiG) and its regulations.

Nursery (0-3 years)

In the first 3 years, warmth and security, trust, diet and optimum hygiene are primary priority. A fixed contact person builds a stable, trusting relationship. We ensure groups are small with a high child-carer ratio in order to support every child in its individual requirements in the best way possible. Our caring team accompanies every child affectionately and sensitively.

Kindergarten (3-5 years)

The children make visible progress and become more independent. We accompany every stage of development and individually promote motoric, cognitive and social abilities. Every child actively designs its learning and experiences. We want to make sure that every child is met at its very own level of development. We always convey feelings and values such as zest for life and enthusiasm and encourage independence, tolerance and helpfulness.

Preschool (4.5-6 years)

This stage is all about conquering the prerequisites for learning – the learning ability: Fine motor skills, language skills, perseverance, concentration and retentiveness, patience, looking for solutions on your own initiative as well as social skills (for example being able to wait, being able to listen, helpfulness, respect and tolerance).
